This book was great. A mix of modern mystery and greek mythology.
This book was great. A mix of modern mystery and greek mythology.
Told in chapters alternating between Jan‘s current predicament & the days leading up to her kidnap, the story is gradually revealed. The reader knows Jan is an unreliable narrator from the start & the other characters were mainly shady.
Fairly easy to work out who is involved but interesting enough to keep me reading. Rating: 3 ⭐️
Jan flies to Crete to reunite with friends she met there and her ex bf five years ago and to relive the amazing vacation they had together. Then she wakes up chained in a dark room not remembering how she got there.
What a great read! I love when the author makes the main character unstable and unreliable so the reader has no clue of what they are reading is true. It had me hooked and questioning everything.

Do any of you choose a book from #AmazonFirstReads each month? It‘s free to Prime members and only $1.99 for others. I have having a hard time choosing this month, but I am leaning toward the tagged book or Match Making for Beginners. I will tag all of these books in the comments. Which one should I choose?

Just picked this one for my kindle first choice this month. I get so excited for this day but I honestly don't think I've read any of the ones I've picked in months lol!!
