I have LOVED this book! A lot of my friends have never really liked Ronda Rousey or her attitude but I've always been a silent fan, and now more so than ever! She has been through so much I never knew about and battled through it in a way I hope I could if I had been in her situations. She is so head-strong and dedicated. Everything she said was empowering and inspiring! I wish she would write another book about what's happened since... ❤📚👊🏻
Rousey writes like an old friend sitting down with you over coffee. Her blunt honesty about her professional and personal life were empowering. Rousey shows how emotions don't mean you aren't strong, how you can do anything anyone else can do--and you can do it better.
Only just started this one and I'm already loving it! I love her attitude! Passion is just dripping off the pages! And the foreword by Dana White is beautiful! I'm getting nervous and tense reading about her fights even though I know how they end! 😂 looking forward to reading the rest 📚
One of my favorite memoirs is by Ronda Rousey. It's emotional and details her training to become one of the best female fighters. #giveawaythetruth
This book was a gift from my #cupidgoespostal pal @Mimi28 ! It was REALLY GOOD from start to finish and since neither Ronda Rousey nor women's fighting has ever been anywhere near my radar, that's saying a lot! That tells you it was well written and held my interest all the way through. She had an interesting childhood and career. She goes into great detail about her mental & physical training and the fights. But why does anyone WANT to fight? Ugh
About halfway through Rousey's book which I'm enjoying VERY much, thank you my #cupidgoespostal @Mimi28 and am thrilled to announce it finally snowed here in Arkansas! I normally live in L.A. where a simple rainy day is a big deal. You can imagine how exciting this snow is! I kept running out in it to take pictures.

After cooking eggs for Mom all week it's nice that today she only wants cereal. Less cooking & cleaning = more reading! Oh and we might get our first snow of the winter! Yay!!!
Ready to start this book from my #cupidgoespostal match @Mimi28 who also gave me these soooooo soft aloe-infused socks!
I enjoyed this one. She recounts stories from her childhood and explains how what she learned from each of those experiences has affected her athletic career.
Gotta admire Ronda Rousey. This former champ put up with a lot of BS-once snubbed at gyms and in this once male-dominated sport. Thanks to her relentless determination and kickass talent, women are now welcome in the Octagon. Fun inside peek into UFC,Expendables3+Olympics.She was first American to win a medal (bronze) in judo. Plus she reads sci-fi! Too bad she just lost to Nunes. #readharder2017 #LitsyAtoZ #LetterM @BookishMarginalia
Here's my #FunFridayPhoto! This is still on my TBR but I know it's a great book and she is awesome and has been through a lot. I also enjoyed Britney Griner's book (one of the most controversial WNBA players) I don't quite remember the title of that one but you look it up. I am all into #Femaleswithtude , lol 😀😎👍😾💪💋
Awesome auto biography of Ronda Rousey. Her background in judo, two Olympics, working 3 jobs to afford to eat & train, to finally breaking barriers by becoming the first UFC Women's champion. Her judo & MMA bouts are both much more cerebral than you realize, & this is a good window into her life.
Didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. Ronda shows the kind of passion it takes to become a champion and this illustrates why she's gotten the reputation she has. Just as much of a fan after reading this and seeing her vulnerable side.
