I'm so excited! I won 2nd prize in the #spinepoetry contest I entered a few weeks ago! Last year my poem placed 3rd, so I guess I'm moving up in the world 😄 The prize? A $50 bookstore gift card!

Learning to write
The hundred secret senses
A knight of the word
Shapes enduring prose,
Writing down the bones;
The runes of the earth
Building a mystery:
The invisible library
