As always with Kearsley the writing was lovely and so were the main characters. This also, coincidentally, turned out to be very appropriate reading for Memorial Day weekend.
I have decided to be done with work for the day and am starting my weekend reading early. 😊 Breeze and Bailey are keeping me company. 📚🐶💜
Just started this one as part of a challenge to read a book set in Canada or written by a Canadian author. Thought I'd go for a double whammy with a book I've owned for some while which is by a Canadian author and where part of it takes place In Canada. A very mysterious start.
Mariana by Susanna Kearsley is one of my favourite books.
