Judy‘s Aunt Jane is going in for as mastectomy just as Judy gets embroiled in a murder and drug ring mystery. Oh and did I mention, she‘s breaking up with her live-in boyfriend? Humorous points, action and surprises all in one package.
Judy‘s Aunt Jane is going in for as mastectomy just as Judy gets embroiled in a murder and drug ring mystery. Oh and did I mention, she‘s breaking up with her live-in boyfriend? Humorous points, action and surprises all in one package.
Judy Carrier, a lawyer trying to work her way to become partner has her plate full with cases, gets a call to inform her favourtie Aunt Barb has cancer.
The story takes a turn, when they receive a call from the police about Aunt Barb's best friend Iris's death. Iris is undocumented, but something about her sudden death doesnt calm her aunt. Judy goes out of way to help only to find money hidden at Aunt Barb's house, more deaths, and assaults.
Judy is a friend and associate of Mary DiNunzio (who just starred in the last book I finished!). Judy has a lot on her plate, and her Aunt Barb just told her she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Things become even more complicated when Barb‘s close friend and caretaker is suddenly murdered. Will Judy be able to handle all this or stretch herself too thin?
I was more interested in Judy‘s family than really the storyline itself.
#40miles20hours
Welcome to Day 1 of the #40Miles20Hours Challenge!!
Remember your goal is to record how far you walk and how long you listen to an audiobook for until you reach forty miles and twenty hours!
So far I have walked 2.75 miles and between walking and cleaning today, I listened to my audiobook for just over two hours.
I actually am really enjoying it!
Can‘t wait to hear everyone else‘s results! You can do it!
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️/5. Found it mediocre and kind of blah. I gave it one extra star because I like the characters in the series.
Scottoline has done it again...I so love her books
I grabbed this from the library, not realizing it‘s the second book in the Rosato & DiNunzio series. It‘s better than Accused, without the over the top narration. An easy listen while doing chores. 🎧📚
I needed something to listen to and this has been on my TBR list for a longtime and it was available from the library. It‘s been a while since I‘ve read a Rosato & Associates novel and I liked the story. Now have to go read Accused to get the back story...
I listened to this one on audiobook and I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the first in the Rosato & Dinunzio mainly due to the fact that the narrator changed. 3⭐️'s
