pickThinking about this book, it seems like I have more criticisms of it than positives. There was wordplay that would make sense in the original Hebrew, but required a lot of explanation in English. The story was a bit confusing at times. I wish there was more historical context, since the story stretches from the 1930s to the present day. But the book made me laugh a lot, and while the end wasn't entirely satisfying, it was fitting. #Jewlit
