I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

Day 2 #20Series20Days @Andrew65

I devoured these books 20-30 years ago. I read them when it was hard to find WWII books when there were still secrets from the Eastern Bloc. The writing is fictional, but they included real people in the stories.

Andrew65 These sound great. 4y

Recommendations for HistFic that will hold the attention of one who hates history as a subject?

WWII is one of the few periods I‘m interested in, and I‘m a musician, so it made sense to try this book as I ventured into HistFic. Unfortunately, only a couple characters held my attention, the historical parts bored me, and the head-jumping within paragraphs was awful. Overall, the book was decent, but I don‘t know if I can make it through the 2nd 😕
