Taking place in the world of Cassandra Rose Clarke’s Magic of Blood and Sea, this is the story of a would-be witch who embarks on an adventure filled with intrigue, mystery, mermaids, and magic. I wasn‘t sure that I‘d ever be able to read the second part of this series, as the imprint that was going to publish it, folded. Happily, it found a new home and was published as a duology! It‘s the story of Hanna, and her journey to face great evil (it‘s also got a back cover quote from Tamora Pierce), which is fitting for today‘s #RiotGrams prompt : travel and adventure as it is overflowing with both!
