Sarah knows discovery would lead to her ruin, but marriageto a vicar, no lesscould help protect her from slander. An especially tempting option when the clergyman in question is the handsome, intriguing Jeremy Cleland. My #doublespin was a pretty easy read. I liked it. Who doesn‘t love a rebellious lady? #bookspinbingo

So I read the last book first but am totally happy with it. I love that Sarah was the nobility while Jeremy was a vicar. To see how these two connected and how much they enjoyed the bedroom was amazing as a wonderful change of pace. While Jeremy did not have a great reaction to the secret Sarah was keeping from him, I love how much he supported her and wanted her to continue by the end of the book. Now to read the other two. #romantsy

Leelee08 @ErinSueG That‘s a tough one. Tessa Dare or Eva Leigh, or Vanessa Kelly.💕 6y
Erinsuereads Oh I love Tessa date!!! I think mine is Paula Quinn. I‘ve been reading a ton of Elizabeth Hoyt lately 6y
Leelee08 @ErinSueG Elizabeth Hoyt is awesome. I‘ve never read Paula Quinn...what do you like about her? 6y
Erinsuereads I love her Macgregor series because they are all related and the characters are just fantastically written. Even the cliche ones are just so damn loveable. 6y

Have you ever wanted to switch from the audio to the actual book only because you're liking it so much and you know you're going to enjoy it more if you start reading it yourself? That's exactly what I'm planning to do with this one. The problem is what will I listen to now?! 😅

What I did last night while listening to the book tagged. Not my typical choice of colors but I figured Summer is almost over so might as well keep the bright colors going for as long as possible 🤪💅🎧

“Only you would take notes on how to attend an orgy,” ... I️ laughed out loud. This is the last one in this series and clearly saving the best for last ♥️

I missed this last book in the Wicked Quills of London so decided to pick it up. It's a bit less cross-class than the previous two and more "figuring out your life". Jeremy has to come to terms with being his dad's lackey, Sarah has to try and trust Jeremy with her secret. In the middle Leigh wrote one of the best defenses of women's work, women's writing, and feeling that one is valued for one's self that I've ever read in a novel. I loved it.

Finished this last night - I guess I'm on a romance kick. This book was so, so great! The "wallflower" heroine writes erotic fiction under a pen name, and the hero is a vicar. If you love a good beta hero - this is the book for you! #historicalromance #romantsy

Loved it! Nice change from the hero who swears off marriage and love.
