It is hard to believe this is a debut novel. The character development is so good even though I had a love/hate relationship with the MC. This is nothing like The Bronze Horseman, Simon's flagship book, and it has lots of triggers so is not for everyone. Just so well written it left thinking about it long after I had finished. 4 ⭐

Reggie Omg this book. I read this book way back in the late 90‘s and a lot of it has stuck with me. Jennifer Mandolini. And the end, I wasn‘t crazy about. Why create so much craziness just to be like, jk I‘m staying. But I really did like this book. 4y
TheSpineView @Reggie I too thought the ending lacked a little. It was just so well written and I enjoyed it. 4y

Just home from watching Tully & spotted this skirt in 1 of my fav shops in my neighbourhood. Thought you fellow book lovers might like it. I ❤️ the tagged 📖 but the movie has nothing to do with it but it was an excellent Mother‘s Day present to myself. Charlize Theron was fantastic & that baby body and mind spot on. Still not sure about the ending though. I ❤️ my local cinema as they serve alcohol & choc tops. There are so many good movies around
