Blue Zone | Andrew Gross
3 posts | 6 read | 2 to read
From the number one New York Times bestselling coauthor of Judge & Jury and Lifeguard comes this electrifying solo debut, The Blue Zone. Kate Raab's life seems almost perfect: her boyfriend, her job, her family . . . until her father runs into trouble with the law. His only recourse is to testify against his former accomplices in exchange for his family's placement in the Witness Protection Program. But one of them gets cold feet. In a flash, everything Kate can count on is gone. Now, a year later, her worst fears have happened: Her father has disappeared--into what the WITSEC agency calls "the blue zone"--and someone close to him is found brutally murdered. With her family under surveillance, the FBI untrustworthy, and her father's menacing "friends" circling with increasing intensity, Kate sets off to find her father--and uncover the secrets someone will kill to keep buried.

Pickpick

I enjoyed this book. It was wonderfully entertaining. Some of the plot points I figured out, and I raise my arms in victory. And a few of the plot points caught me by surprise…which I always love in a book.

Steve Barry was to speak at our conference tonight. However, Mr. Barry has come down with the flu. Andrew Gross agreed to step in for him. He was and is going to speak tomorrow. Tonight he spoke about how he got into writing. And tomorrow he‘ll speak specifically about his books.

CouronneDhiver Cool. I read one of Gross‘ books earlier this year and enjoyed it. 7y

Another library I visited on my road trip. They were having a book sale. Andrew Gross is going to be at a book event I‘m attending next month. So, I bought a book to have him sign. All four books cost me $1.75. And the cute bag was $1.50. It‘s canvas, it has a side pocket, and it‘s lined. Who could resist?
