Maybe some books should stay in our childhood. ☹ I was tempted to DNF this so many times over the past few days, but didn't, just to see what I loved about this before. All I can say is that 15-year old me was easily impressed. 😐

Suddenly felt like reading an old favorite. I was obsessed with this for a time. Wondering what I'll think of this book now, 15 years after I first read it. 🤔

I LOVED this book when I was 12-13, the target audience, but reading it now I feel way too old for it! So I‘ve decided to give this one up so that a kid the right age can enjoy it like i did ☺️ #bookspin

#hour30 of #24in48 I'm a little late but I like this challenge, a book you love that's under the radar. I read this book when I was young and felt my youth was holding me back. I loved this book, and when I discovered that the author started writing it when she was 12 I loved it even more! I haven't published a book, or even finished writing one, but this book made me see possibilities even for a young girl in Indiana! 😊
