In honor of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, my 7 yo and I read this biography of Neil Armstrong. This series is wonderful - the perfect length and content for the 6-9 yo crowd. I learned a lot myself about Armstrong‘s life and the training and logistics of the moon landing. 🌙 👩‍🚀 🚀

This biography picture book is by Roberta Edwards and illustrated by Stephen Marchesi. It is a biography about an astronaut, military pilot, and educator named Neil Armstrong. He made history by becoming the first man to walk on the moon.
