Somebody's Crying | 
@DinoMom I received my #Bestof2020Swap package, but I'm so upset because the delivery person left it on my porch in the pouring rain! My boyfriend has opened the wet items and has them in front of a heater to dry out, so hopefully there isn't too much damage. I haven't seen anything, so the surprise isn't ruined, but it is so upsetting 😭 I feel like all your hard work was erased by the carelessness of one delivery person 😭😭😭

candority @MegaWhoppingCosmicBookwyrm James said the corners of the books are wet, but he's in the office diligently putting paper towel between the pages to help dry them out faster. Ziploc isn't a bad idea! Or try to put things in the box strategically, with items that won't be damaged by a little water on the bottom. Really though, this is all on Canada Post and not doing their due diligence to ensure the package was properly delivered. 4y
DinoMom @candority this makes me so sad. I had wrapped everything and numbered it all, so hopefully the outer wrapper of the items got most of it and the rest will be better once it is dry. Sorry that this happened to you. I have never had Canada post leave anything in the rain before.😡Terrible. Hopefully the books will dry with little damage. 😦 (edited) 4y

candority @DinoMom James has set the numbers aside and will re-wrap the things he had to open when they are dry, so I can still experience it as you intended! Even if the books are water damaged, the stories will be the same and I can't wait to find out what you sent! I've never had Canada Post do anything like this either! It's been raining all day, so it makes no sense to me that they would leave it. It's not like it was a surprise rain shower! 😭😡 4y

Jess861 Oh no - and it's not like it was a little rain today (at least where I am in Canada) - it was a full out downpour all day! Canada Post has been leaving all my packages at the door this year but I haven't had any dropped off on rainy days so I'm not sure what they'll do if that is the case one day. 4y
