1. A table by a window in Waterstones Gloucester, and I will be back there one day. For now, though, it‘s the arbor in my back garden;

2. Corned Beef Hash

3. Tagged, an easy read but well-paced and interesting.

4. These two, Merlot (left, enjoying a head script has) and Rioja (right, looking like butter wouldn‘t melt in her mouth - it‘s an act😹)

Finished my second book during #24B42020, now at 14 hrs 26 mins.

This was another good book in the Jefferson Tayte Series. This one was a bit of a departure from other books in the series with a serial killer on the loose who seems to beat a big grudge against Jefferson. Start counting the bodies! Enjoyable in its own way but I do hope they get back to the normal fayre with the next book as I enjoy exploring the history within these.

Sooooo... Reading the 6th book in a series can be a make or break moment. Is the author going to follow the tried and true recipe or will he shake things up. In this case things got shaken up and I thought that it really worked. The second part wasn't without its issues when it came to the story telling, but in the end I just needed to now how it ends... I will read the next book, if there is one.
