So the gist here is:

Justice League fights Suicide Squad - Suicide Squad wins. Then the original mega-evil Suicide Squad shows up and the SS teams up with the JL to fight them. SS and JL mostly defeat the OG SS, but then Max Lord turns the JL evil. Then the SS + Batman must take on the JL.

This is more a Squad book than a League book, but we do get some nice character moments between Superman and Killer Frost.

This is my idea of a good time, lots of superheroes, lots of supervillains, explosions, mayhem, plenty of fighting and in the end we get that old comic book chestnut: the two teams stop fighting and join forces to defeat the real enemy. The plot isn't the strongest, but the artwork is fantastic. 3 💥💥💥 1/2

This is an awesome crossover event within the DC Rebirth: tons of characters, huge fight sequences, and a solid story.

Great book, really fun, especially the character interactions.
Classic comic set up to get the two teams fighting, until they realize there is a larger threat they must team up to defeat. So much fun seeing these characters fight each other first, then work together.

This one seems to have a pretty even split in opinions on goodreads. I personally liked it! If you think you're getting a whole 300 pages of JLA vs SS though, you'll be disappointed. Them fighting is like, only a third of the storyline. It goes like 1) they fight 2) bigger threat emerges 3) more shit happens that I don't want to spoil. There are some cuuuuuuute WW/Harley moments (and variant covers!). Ends with a good lead into next SS arc. A-/B+
