The old coot can be quite lovely!
You can't have a hot, humid day in Australia without a thunderstorm in the evening. I think this one is a doozy, it's actually darker in real life. The one we had Saturday night was bad (one of the thunderclaps shook my house!) but this is probably stronger. So if I go dark later, there's a 80% chance it's because of a blackout. I see your photos of autumn colours, even snow and I'm sitting here in a puddle of sweat, wishing I lived in Iceland❄️
A classic St. Mary's short, except in addition to the laughter, this one left me in tears at the end. I've grown used to tears in the full length novels, especially the last one where I seriously considered quitting the series, but the short stories aren't supposed to make me cry. I'm quite put out. And yes, I'm cranky enough to remove a star from my rating for excessive #feels. I'm a moody reader and reviewer. What can I say?
