Another great story in the I Survived series. In this one a young boy moves from his family farm to Chicago. He is robbed and beaten up and alone in Chicago as it burns and must find a way to safety.

This HF book was written from the perspective of a little boy who survived the Great Chicago Fire. The story is engaging and the characters are easy to relate to. This can serves a a good book for an IR or LC. #UCFSU19

KPC I love these series! I had to buy the collection. Great way to read about important historical events. 6y
raqueldonna Sounds like a fun way to learn about events in history w/o having to read a history book, our social studies professor would approve 😉 6y
raqueldonna Also I had never heard of this series! 6y

We're all in the living room at my dad's house and I'm wondering where my son has disappeared to. (He has been known to sneak his Nintendo Switch at all hours.) I was pleasantly surprised to bust in on him reading books I bought him yesterday. They're too easy for him, but he's been wanting to read them. 😍

Tamra Happy Surprise! 👏🏾 7y

Scholastic Book Fair at Man Cub's school. This is not the 'I Survived' that he got tonight but one that he does have.
We picked out one for the nephew as well, 'Please, Mr. Panda'
