I must say I did hope for more from this. After reading The tatooist of Auschwitz and Cilka's story I missed the fact based material. This one was just an novel and it wasn't based on facts the same way. I was really annoyed with Ada's character in the beginning of the book but got over it as the story progressed. In the end I almost liked her.
