It was an ok read, but couldn't fully convince me. There was just so much more potential in the background stories and the characters that wasn't used. And for a thriller I sadly didn't feel very thrilled by it. But I still had fun reading it.
Sometimes this is really violent. But other than his “Shepherd”-series I liked it anyway.
This has much to do with August Burke. And a bit with Krüger.
I liked the “quest” presented but the denouement wasn‘t as extraordinary as the arc of suspense indicated.
Anyway, there was something in the plot and writing style that definitely kept my interest. This is why I don‘t care that the end is a bit flat.
Note: There might one day be a sequel.
