After his most recent attempt at suicide, teenager Hunter will be sent along with other depressed teens to Camp Sunshine. Just a side question: at a facility that confiscates your belts and shoelaces, would horseback riding on a trail be the obvious activity the next day? Lol, I don‘t know why this bothers me. Following sarcastic Hunter in the beginning almost lost me but the end packs such an emotional punch. Very worth the read. #24in48

I absolutely loved this book and right now, I'm referring to it as my favorite book of the summer. The story is told from a (hilarious) depressed teenagers point of view and though it was about a heavy subject, I didn't put it down feeling depressed myself. I was actually very shocked by the secrets revealed in this story. I also liked the main character's growth and better understanding of his depression.
