Welcome to Litsy!

Is there anyone else out there who can look at beautiful pictures on end, filled with a deep happiness and longing at the same time? In those moments I miss studying History of Art. Gosh to think of all the beauty that is out there in the world and I haven't seen it yet!!

This was love at first sight and even though the price here in Japan was insane I knew this was supposed to be another treasure for my collection. The patterns inside are so beautiful, they make my world stand still.

This book is not yet in the Litsy database, but the title was close enough for me to go with is. The subtitle says "Japanese Floral Pattern Design in the Art Nouveau Era". From the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.
