Wow, this was such a surprise and I loved it. Relatively short, written by creator of Veronica Mars (am unfamiliar with show but I can see he knows teenagers). A raw and honest look at a teen trying to put his life back together. Really short and is essentially his essay assigned by his guidance counselor. Set between roughly 91-94, it brought me right back to high school - the joys and devastations, angst, insecurity, first love. This is a gem!

Leniverse I loved the show back in the day. Veronica Mars was a modern day Nancy Drew. First in high school, then in college. 8y

Excited about my 1.99 ebooks tonight. Both books I've been wanting to read but aren't at my library. 😀👍

Tonight I was talking to a friend about how much I loved this book. Rob Thomas's email is in the back, so in 10th grade I shot him a message and he actually replied! I was TOTALLY a Zipper, btw.
