Book 13/25 complete!! This book was so fun to read. It was almost like Harry Potter meets Miss Peregrine. It was murderous and magical all at the same time. Highly recommend checking this book out. 🎪

I‘m slumping hard this January. Nothing I am picking up is hitting the spot. This was supposed to be the quick read to shake me loose from the reading doldrums but despite a promising beginning, halfway through, I find that I‘m just….bored. Hopefully I find something to love soon - this has been a very disappointing start to my reading year. 😔

Like any other morning, Skylars late for school, but when she is greeted by silent stares upon entering Blackfin High, she discovers that the town thought she fell from the pier and drowned on her 3 months earlier. However, Sky remembers living her life as normal, and since she is living she has no idea whose buried underneath her tombstone. Sky must discover the truth, which is difficult when someone is following her with the intent to harm her.
