I love Jury and his friend Melrose Plant. Such great characters. This one is darker than normal with murders of children and dark pasts involved.

Taking a break from my Charles Dickens bio (which I‘m loving but can‘t read fast) to fit in a mystery. This is my 3rd of the Richard Jury series, total comfort reading for me. It went super fast, I wish there was another hundred pages - great characters and a darker crime than usual. My library is missing Books 3,4 and 5 in the series and they‘re OOP but I‘ve ordered them from Abebooks - they‘re a life saver 😊

Reggie I thought of you yesterday because I was binge watching Zumba‘s Just Desserts and the bakers were making pavlova, caramel slices and Lamington cake that I figured you would know. 7y
Centique @Reggie yay! Yes we have all of those. And they‘re YUM 😋I love Zumba too, he‘s my favourite celebrity baker I think. I‘m hooked on the Great Australian Bake Off tv show at the moment (we don‘t have a NZ one yet) 7y
