It‘s also about a lost book as well as a secret room. I was in a noisy family in a small house, finding a secret room that I could hide in and just read was my deepest wish. Samantha has her own secret room but finds out her greatgran had another hidden on her families property.

Up next in #LizsLibraryLoves is a book I was completely fascinated with as a 9yrold.It's no secret my family life wasn't all that great so the story of a young girl who finds a secret room on her property that she can escape to where no one can find her, really appealed to me.I'm pretty sure I was the only borrower of this book for about a year at my library, reading their copy to rags in that time.I've been trying to find a vintage copy for ages.
