For #ScaryMonstersAndSuperCreeps I'm going with the two most terrifying creatures from fiction that I can think of.

1: The Alzabo - Not only are they freaky to look at, but after they consume a human they gain some of their memories and THE ABILITY TO REPLICATE THEIR VOICES! Adding to the horror is that some people hunt them then eat human brains in alzabo gland soup to experience dead people's memories. #NightmareFuel #SeptemBowie

batsy To eat or not to eat alzabo gland soup... 7y
Centique Oh my god that‘s scary and also kind of awesome 😳😃 7y
vivastory My current read, book 2 of Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy, features a similar creature, except when it consumes someone it excretes the skeleton of the body it is currently inhabiting 😬 6y

It took me a month to finish this one! A MONTH!!! This is the first book ever which made me feel like I wanted to throw it in a trash can several times, and at the same time held me and made me consume it. Absolutely amazing!! This is the part where I saw Severians growth. At times irritating with his coldblooded descriptions (even at loss of a beloved woman) and at time heartwarming with his emotions. Can't wait to start with the fourth part😍
