I'm pretty happy with how this ended - I dont think it could have been concluded satisfactorily in any other way! I do feel that the eliminating of a *certain death* in an earlier volume could have made the finale even better, but... Maybe I'm just bitter 😂

And I'm finished with Death Note! It's been great revisiting the story in it's original form. I love the ambiguity of right and wrong, and the focus on the Sherlock v. Moriarty like relationship between Kira and L. It's such a good series and one I'm sure I'll have trouble moving on from as I find something new to read.

Death Note finished with a bang! There were some spots during the series where I didn't like the direction, but it sure did polish up well in the end.
