so-soThere were things that were interesting & promising, but there were more little things that irritated me💁♀️
Things maybe to know:
-the author thinks most of the south is racist
-there is crude language
-the audiobook gives the love interest a cringe savanna accent
-the story felt incomplete, like it needs a sequel
-unusual & unique characters
-interesting magic
-full of politically left leaning attitude, in case that is or isn't your thing
