I bought these Yen Press editions to replace my old ADV editions, mainly so I could have them without all the advertisements in the back. Am interested to look into the editorial & translation differences between the two versions.

Read for a challenge. First (and probably last) experience with manga graphic novels. Are they all printed back to front, right to left? Asking for a friend.

This is the first manga I've read completely in Japanese (thank goodness they provided kanji reading 😅). It took awhile to snag me but it's quite cute: episodic chapters about a young girl and her dad who move to a new town and have humorous encounters with the family of girls living next door. It's fun reading the childish word play and actually getting the joke in Japanese 😂 #mommyreads #manga #nihongo

This #manga was so adorable! Focusing on a cheerful & naive young girl, each chapter layouts out cute and funny scenarios as she tries to navigate and learn about the world around her. This is a great title for all ages of readers!
