A future world which has done away with wars and hatred finds itself disintegrating when the truth comes out.
Complex plot, which is hard to follow at times, and world-building that is believable sort of. The dirty politics is human though.

Definite pick. Read this right after Too Like The Lightning. They really should've been one book, many quirks and issues I had with book 1 get resolved by book 2, as they're two halves of one narrative. I'm looking forward to seeing where the series goes from here.
Okay, this follow up to the first book is so so needed. So many pieces in Too Like The Lightning get resolved here. Pieces that had no pay off in book 1 are getting their payoff. I'd highly recommend reading the two back to back.
Alright, I feel much more drawn into this world after reading this (The second in the Terra Incognita series)
Haven‘t read anywhere near as much as I normally would at this point in my holiday, for two reasons:
1️⃣ Seem to have more last minute preparations than usual, but more importantly
2️⃣ I can‘t tear myself away from CONTROL. It‘s rare for me to find a video game I really love, so I‘m trying to enjoy the ride. But I know that part of the reason I‘m playing instead of reading is my lack of desire to pick up Under the Volcano. Ugh!
Xmas holiday reading extravaganza officially begins now! I have two weeks off and want to read as much as possible.
I won‘t get to all of these but I like to have a large stack to choose from. I‘ve been reading both Under the Volcano and We Came Naked and Barefoot for weeks and haven‘t had time to concentrate, so I‘d like to get those squared away as soon as I can. But for now I‘m starting the tagged because I‘m craving something new.
