pickI‘ve always adored Collins‘ atmospheric storytelling - he doesn‘t fail in this tale of two sisters, disinherited & made illegitimate by an outdated Will. The main story unfolds as each deals w/ the blow to their status & lives. News alert, one of them takes a flying leap into the underworld of disguises, false names, & an intense & gripping scam worthy of a play out on the big screen. I could not stop reading when this part of the plot played out.
