Okay, stay with me here, but I think one of the many themes of Groundhog Day is the life-changing power of books. After his days of indulgence and days of depression, Phil Conners turns to literature and it makes him whole.
This moment shows him reading by himself, then looking around to see if anyone else‘s world changed when he read something beautiful. A quiet, simple moment. I know that moment and I bet you do too.
