On the bright side is such a great read… I believe that we all (as humans) need a little insight into getting old and coping with life at an advanced age… there are always issues but to keep moving and living is key … as expressed in this book by this author with wise words and a wonderful outlook on coping with getting older in life … loved it even though some parts are extremely sad 😞

Laughter and sadness-it's just a part of life when you are getting older. The Old But Not Dead Yet group is at it again in the sequel to The Secret Diary of Henrik Groen 83 1/4 years old. I LOVE the elder generation, maybe it's because I miss my sweet momma or just because I've always found the golden oldies so interesting. A must read if you have a heart for the elder generation❤️
pickThis sequel must be read. I so enjoyed spending another year with Hendrik. Perfect blend of humor, friendship, politics, and elder care in the Netherlands (not as great as I‘d presumed). Must read.
