pickFirst of the immortal Molesworth tetralogy as any fule kno. I must have been 9 or 10 when I first read this, and though I've read it countless times in the intervening half-century it still makes me snort with laughter and there are bits I had forgotten among the chunks I recall perfectly. A perfect marriage of comic writing and drawing.
