The Doom Magnetic! Trilogy
The Doom Magnetic! Trilogy | William Pauley, III
2 posts | 1 read
CHORIZO, NEVADA is full of dusty streets, gritty men, and filthy women - the perfect place for a man chockful of secrets to hide. But one fateful day, his past catches up to him... A Japanese assassin with a cue-ball eye invades the town with an army of two-foot eyeless minions who have an uncanny taste for human blood. He has two things on his mind - Where is his purple television? And who is the dead man that stole it from him? The DOOM MAGNETIC! Trilogy is a fast-paced sci-fi western, packed plum-full of sex, violence, cosmic voids, big bitchy headless women, Coliseum-style combat, genetically-engineered mutant giants, breathy brain whispers, cigar smoke torture chambers, and a sea of electric television zombies. This version is the complete novel and contains part two and three of Maundin's adventure, previously unpublished.

Another excellent tale by William Pauley that gives me a PKD feel with his use of paranoia and infusing Sci-fi into a modern setting. This was a terrific read.

I'm not reading the Doom Magnetic, I have and its great. But Willam Pauleys other books aren't on here so I'm tagging this book. His Bedlam Bible series is fantastic. Very compelling and quirky characters. Just realized I uploaded a pic of book one. I'm reading book two right now, and I might be enjoying it even more than book one.
