#TimbitTunes Day 23: Because of #TheNeedleAndTheDamageDone this book was created whereby as the Intro says: “a young child dreams of a world without violence. Violence, guns, crime, bullying and war affect the daily lives of children all over the world. This book was created in Mexico, where the war against drugs has brought tragedy, fear and insecurity into the lives of many young children.” My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-7pB

This book is gorgeous and yet completely devastating. I couldn't bring myself to read it to my kids (5 and 3) but I was so glad *I* read it.

The pages I feature above read (from top to bottom):
I dreamt of pistols that shoot butterflies...
I dreamt that wars are always fought with flowers...
[Some trees] grow despite everything. And it is they who help all to breathe. (Trees = kids)
