Pickpick

The illustrator uses such immense detail and clarity in the illustrations throughout this book. The illustrations appear as if they were photos taken by a camera. The colors in the illustrations do a great job helping to depict the mood of the characters as well as the setting. The presence of texture is also noticeable throughout the book creating the effect that the reader can imagine just how an object would feel if it were to be touched.

Review:
This book uses size to make the reader's eye go to the dino first and then the children since they are smaller on the page. Children see how their creations come to life when drawing and how important it is to imagine.
