This was a great story, but I'm not so sure of the narrator reading this on the audio. Often drifted off while listening
I‘m a bit torn.
I *quite* liked the story, but it really didn‘t live up to the prologue. I *quite* liked Kala, Roleau and the team. But it took an awful lot of coincidences to solve the mystery. And in the end I didn‘t really care.
I‘m not sure how much of my meh-ness was down to the narration, which was a bit flat.
So yeah. I didn‘t hate it.
I‘m not having much joy with audiobooks at the moment π€·π»ββοΈ
Back at school, the final stretch! A condensed semester, then practicum, then I will be the newest library technician in Alberta!! Then, more time for reading π I am really enjoying this mystery, and by a Canadian author to boot!
Brenda Chapman is a local author in my city of Ottawa! I didn't know this until I started to look up all the different local authors, but now I'm really interested to read her book Cold Mourning. #day18 #localauthor #aprilbookshowers
