This book held more symbolism then it probably should have. But this story is about a man who had to chose between what is expected of him versus what he believes is morally sound. I connected with this in a world where Trump will be leading my nation. I refuse to allow myself to be forced to behave in a way that I deem immoral just because society agrees with it. I will be a safe place. This book is about being a safe place.
