Chimerica | Lucy Kirkwood

Not actually Chimerica, but Lucy Kirkwood's new play that just opened in London. We had one night to get to the theatre so I picked up a couple of cheeky tickets yesterday afternoon and we raced into town straight after Shabbat. The Royal Court is a gorgeous theatre. Francesca Annis is a superb actor. I'm not sure "The Children" is a significant work, but this was a bloody good night seeing a new play in a tremendous production.

Really dug this. It could have been a bit more streamlined, and it's depressing as hell in the wake of the election of Agent Orange, but it's still worth the read.
