Currey I loved Cutting for Stone. Notes from the Hyena‘s Belly is unusual in that it is part autobiographical, part mythical tales from Ethiopia, and a lot of the horror of civil war. Well worth reading @BookishMel (edited) 7y
BookishMe @Currey I like that part about mythical tales. While it is necessary to know the history, I can do with a break from reading about civil wars. Ahhh, the luxury to 'escape' from such faraway realities ;o 7y
