Hero at Large was Janet Evanovich's first published novel under the pseudonym Steffi Hall. Apparently they've more recently reprinted it replacing the man and unfortunate woman with no bottom half with a dog and an infatuated bunny. I've never read it, but I think I might pick it up to see how all those things come together in one novel.

I've read a lot of heavy books recently and was looking for something light. This was certainly light, and fun, and completely ridiculous and unbelievable. Janet Evanovich is an international best selling author who is a prolific writer and is no doubt very much loved and respected within this genre. I think I like my fluff a little more firm though, so will say farewell to this author and keep searching for the ones who hit that sweet spot.
