Blood Fever | Charles Higson
1 post | 10 read | 2 to read
James Bond has discovered danger. Now it's come looking for him. An Eton boy's family disappears at sea. James uncovers a shadowy society operating in a hidden corner of the school. And far from England, in the bandit-infested interior of Sardinia, a sinister Italian count has built himself a mountain fortress. Is there a connection? Young Bond is about to find out - and face a lethal group of villains beneath the burning Mediterranean sun.

I mostly liked this book. My Dad said that the Hungarian pirates were a real threat in the 50‘s when this book was taking place, so it‘s not as racist as it seems. There was a lot of action, and there is never a dull moment, but the end was too abrupt and it left too many open ended questions. James is too forgiving of his enemies. I am holding off on Double Or Die until I read more of what I already have.
