(1965) Third in the Three Investigators Series, which is without exaggeration the greatest juvenile mystery series of all time, past present and future. So of course it's a pick.

Day 206.
Here I will note 365 books (or as many as I will have before I get tired) that have shaped my taste in literature. No explanations, no reviews. Just the cover of the book.
I do not challenge anyone. You are all welcome to take part.
Day 3 of #20Series20Days: The Three Investigators
The very first book I checked out from the library's "Juvenile" collection (as opposed to the "Children's" collection) was "The Three Investigators and the Mystery of the Whispering Mummy" and man I was hooked. The lead, Jupiter Jones, was a smart kid who didn't conform socially but who loved to read and didn't care that others found him odd: my first literary role model.
@Andrew65
I‘d read Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, Cherry Ames and Tricia Belden when I was a kid but my favourite juvenile mystery series by far was the Three Investigators. I loved following the adventures of Jupiter, Pete and Bob!
