pickI should have known that once I started reading this book, I wouldn‘t be able to put it down. There are so many twists and turns that my interest never waned. At first, I thought I liked some characters, then I no longer liked them. I actually started liking other characters. Although I found the ending to be a fitting one, I would have liked a little more closure about the Penda boy. This book is a good read.
At first, I liked Jessica, but now I am very suspicious about her character.
Just like Tony, the main character, I would like to know how everyone knows about his Uncle Charlie.
Now, I need to find about Austin, the missing Penda School student.
This book is so interesting. I really want to know why Uncle Charlie wants Tony, his great-nephew, to attend the Penda School.
There is not one dull moment in this book. I have been introduced to Ms. Foxworth and Mrs. Z., and they definitely know what is going on at the Penda School.
I had no idea what she found in me—but what I saw in her eyes was fear.
so-so⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I don‘t think this is something I would have picked up on my own accord, but since I had to read a book with a ghost to finish my criteria for the month I picked it up. The book did leave me guessing at different points of the book while other parts where blatantly obvious.
I really like how the author thinks of someyhing new and creative. Also, how its very detailed about when the kid sis running from the uncle to keep his life.
