This story was one of the most interesting ones out of Hamish Macbeths murder mysteries! I do so feel bad for Hamish's lack of a love life though 😂
I'm going to have to read the next several books as eBooks 😭 Oh i dislike reading books that i can't hold and feel and smell.. 💔

Not my best day. 😞 My husband & I are on a doctor-supervised weight-loss program; he‘s lost more than 100 lbs and I‘ve lost around 70. At today‘s visit though, we‘d both gained weight. So we kind of wallowed. Ate junk and did nothing fitness-related at all. Tomorrow will be better. I feel like Sam looks. KathyWheeler @Trashcanman Thank you. I guess we shouldn‘t be surprised by a little setback — we‘ve both accomplished a lot. If this had happened last year though, I would‘ve just cried and given up. So that‘s a positive— only having a one day wallow. 😄 6y

KathyWheeler @FlowerFairy Thank you so much for this. I have to remind myself occasionally of what I‘ve already accomplished. I tend toward the negative most of the time — especially when it‘s about me. I can recognize and applaud others‘ accomplishments but not my own. 6y

KathyWheeler @cobwebmoth When we were talking last year about how not to make Thanksgiving a disaster, our nutritionist said, “Make what you want; remember, it‘s a meal not a month.” So we made what we usually do, except I only made 2 pies instead of 5. 😄 I‘ve tried to keep that one-day-at-a-time perspective ever since. 6y

Megabooks Tomorrow is definitely a new day! I‘m very impressed by that weight loss. I‘ve gained 100 lbs in the past 15 years. (I was a healthy weight before that.) I see a dietician in July, so we‘ll see what happens. Keep pushing through! You got this!! 6y

KathyWheeler @Megabooks Good luck! Make sure the dietician is focused on you being healthy, not just losing weight. One of the things I love about ours is they have no interest in shaming us for being overweight and they will let us know upfront when our goals are unrealistic. 6y

Reggie Have you ever seen the 2nd season of the biggest loser where that guy gets immunity and so he packs in the food so he doesn‘t plateau.... and then the next week he finds out he lost twice amount of weight than everyone else. So you just got weighed on your plateau week. You‘re doing great!!! 6y

TheEllieMo Losing 70lbs is an amazing accomplishment; you‘ve done so well and should be so proud. Don‘t let one day put you off track completely, you can do this! 6y

Emilymdxn You‘re still doing incredible tho! Success is never a straight line it‘s always bumpy and ‘ooh am I doing this right‘ shaped. You‘ve got motivation long term and have been trying really hard for so long, and some days of eating more doesn‘t invalidate the hard work you‘ve done. 6y

Have had to mostly listen to audio today, but am settling in to read now. At 14 hr 13 min so far for #24in48. Congrats to those of you who reach the 24 hours! I probably won‘t ever make it (but that‘s ok).
