Pickpick

This medieval mystery set in England was just an OK for me. Not outstanding but a decent read. Owen Archer, a former soldier who lost an eye during the war, begins an undercover assignment for the archbishop who is suspicious of the death of his ward in York. He uncovers two deaths (and more to follow) involving a convoluted scandal from the past (jealousy, suicide, etc.). Not too invested but might try the next one in series. 3.5/5⭐️ #BookSpin

Mehso-so

A lovely crime novel with an interesting main character. But for me to much of the Middle Age feeling was missing. The story could've played at any other time. Still, I was entertained while listening to the audio book.
