Took my #reread of the month and my hammock with me to the nearest mountain for some luxury reading time. At one point I looked up from my book and was utterly confused by all the blue stuff I saw (the fjords). Van der Post had made me believe I was in the midst of the Kalahari desert. That's just great writing ❤

LauraBrook This one and the sequel were favorites of my Uncle who passed away this fall. They're still TBR (along w all 4 of my Wendell Berry's, another favorite of his). Maybe next year I'll do an Uncle reading category? Love your edition! 7y
