Mehso-so

I expected very atmospheric locked-room crime/mystery novel, because story has some perfect starting points - remote place in Swiss Alps, snow blizzard, fancy minimalistic hotel with the burden of history ... but the execution is unremarkable, and with to many ‘eye rolling‘ moments. Just an average whodunit story.

TheAromaofBooks Great progress!! 3y
BarbaraBB I was so disappointed too. And isn‘t she annoying? And that epilogue! Who was that? There‘ll probably be a sequel but I doubt I‘ll read and will ever find out! 3y
CaramelLunacy What a shame! 3y

Simona @BarbaraBB I wasn‘t so annoyed by her, as I was with the twists and turns in the plot ... and I think that too, that the epilogue is meant for the sequel. He is the villain from her first case, in my opinion 🤫 3y
Simona @TheAromaofBooks Thank you ☺️ 3y
Simona @CaramelLunacy It happens with crime/mystery books, that are so much under spotlights. Too good marketing to be true 🤷‍♀️ 3y
BarbaraBB That‘s very plausible. I hadn‘t payed much attention to him! 3y
